Animaland was a Sculptured Nature Park that was a very popular pit stop for tourists enroute to Fundy National Park, Nova Scotia and/or USA/Maine. It was situated along Route 114 in Penobsquis, NB and was in operation from the early 1960s to the mid 1990s. It's creator Winston Bronnum, a celebrated Naturalist Art Sculptor - passed away in 1991. Closed for over two decades now, much of the park attractions still stand tall there today. It was recently opened to the public for Cyclo Cross weekend competition in November 2015.
